Or how about using the really cool Faux leather fabric that's available now.  I'm amazed at how much it really looks and feels like leather.  This is an embossed faux leather.   I made it without any batting, quilting or monogram.   I think it turned out beautiful.  Hard to tell it isn't real leather!

We used the Mead brand Pocket Calendar readily available at most Wal-mart's for less than $3.00.
We include links to buy the calendar on line, in the instructions included with the designs.
