A very dear embroidery friend sent in this design idea.  Her Aunt Nancy has made these adorable coasters for years,  using the sewing machine.   Since my friend prefers In the hoop projects to sewing, she thought these coasters would be a great project.  And you know, she was RIGHT!  Thanks Shannon and please thank Aunt Nancy too! LOL

  These are made right in the embroidery hoop with NO ADDITIONAL SEWING REQUIRED!  Each coaster takes less than 1/8 of a yard of fabric to make and you can complete one in about 10-15 minutes, start to finish!   And the quilting is all done in the hoop plus they are even lined!  Inexpensive and quick to construct, these make wonderful, useful gifts.  Wouldn't they be great for Craft Shows also?   Add a matching ribbon - instant beautiful, useful gift!

You receive 3 styles of quilted coasters, round, square and diagonal construction.  These 3 coaster styles also include 3 different quilting stitches,  diamond, stipple and straight line (channel).  (the back of the coaster is quilted so they are REVERSIBLE TOO!)  One of my favorite things about these coasters is that you can use a multitude of different fabrics to create them - perfect for Fat Quarter Bundles!   5 inch Charm Pack squares work perfectly too!

Use 4 coordinating fabrics for the front (diagonal coaster style shown):

The designs fit most 4x4 hoops.  PLEASE Note: These designs are not meant to be resized.  

The embroidery design measures approximately 3.90 inches  (99mm) and the finished coaster measures just shy of 3 7/8 inches.  As with all our projects,  complete Easy to follow instructions, with step by step pictures are included (PDF).
