We made the batch above using inexpensive craft felt - quick and easy to make.

But if you love burlap or even cotton fabric - yes, you can use it too.  Here's an example using burlap - pretty cute!

Designs come with 1 and 2 sacks in the hoop - To stitch 1 you need a 4x4 hoop for the small one or 5x7 for the larger 5x7 size.  To stitch 2 of the 4x4 designs at a time you need a 6x10 hoop.  To stitch 2 of the 5x7 designs at a time you need a 7x11 hoop.  The 2 designs per hoop files are color sorted for quick stitching.
